We had a minimum temp of 3.5C here in Essex last night, No one predicted that.

I think I'll be getting the fleece out later if it's not too late already.

we had 5 which the local forecast did warn about, but there wasn't a frost with it, luckily!

Met office say 7C ,BBC says chance of frost.

Have just run round in the pouring rain covering courgettes (and I was beginning to get cocky  ) and spuds.

We escaped the frost last night, but it did drop to 5.5 C, which is still a bit chilly.
