good evening all, having just been down the plot to water i have noticed that something has been having a free meal on my brassicas, they were very small black beetle like, could they be flea beetle? if so whats the best way to eradicate them. i have in my shed some Picket 'G' would this do?

give them a good overhead watering, it gets rid of a lot of them.
The dry weather means they will be bad this year

derris is banned and I dont know any other pesticides.   

organic method
tennis raquet, cardboard stuck with a polythene paper and coated with layer of good greese. and just move/hover over plants and they will stick to it.
last year I tried with olive oil but that was low viscous. this year I will buy some greese (yet to plant brassicas out)
