My three hens (now 18 months) are all going through a very long moulting period. Only one is laying at present. I've made sure they have plenty of grit and shell etc and have given them some tonic. I've now noticed some blood in the tray which sits under their roosting bars and a meaty type of discharge in the nesting box. This has not been repeated yet. i am working them this week as i had forgot to do it for the last 3 months!!
Is there anything i should or should not be doing?

they have a very good diet and enjoy out kitchen treats and scraps.

I would love to have some advice please.
