old cooker had a fanoven but also had a setting so you could just have normal oven this one here is just fan as far as i can see so i know i should be knocking the temp down a little anyone know by how much please ,i want to do some baking

I've not looked at MOS's chart but I lower everything by 20 degrees, unless the recipe actually states a fan temperature......!

I also knock 20º off the temperature unless instructions state otherwise for a fan oven & don't forget you might need to reduce the cooking time too, I usually reduce the cooking time by 10 minutes in every hour.

trying a victoria sponge later on so if i can crack that one should be ok fingers crossed

well did my sponge cake and it came out great hubby was well impressed had to wait till he came in to cut it though diddnt wa nt to spoil the effect , thanks for the help
