I give up before I had my chicks i was convinced reading the books I could easily sex them .

WRONG

they are now three weeks old and i have no idea whether i have any males among them.

Any helpful hints. ps they are all meat chicks and I have no idea wat breed etc.

the combs will develop quicker on the males - any chance of some photos so we can see if we can guess?

With the meat chicks from Simon Rachel, I can usually tell by 3-4 weeks which they are, but you are going to eat them all, so does it really matter?  But like Joy said their combs get bigger and they look stockier than the hens

Simon called me the other day and I asked him which chicks he had given you and I was right, you have some 787's which are the white faster growers, the 757's also white usually medium growing and any browny ones are coloryields, slower growing.

Once you can tell the difference, remember which you are eating too and compare them.  The meat is generally more tender on the hens and they have bigger breasts too, whereas the boys are bigger thighed!
