What should I be thinking about planting in August?

Well ive just sown some more lettuce and cauli for over the winter, dont know about anything else tho, my cauli in spring was lovely (did them this time last yr) but they were grown in the greenhouse tho

Look out for Japanese Onion sets. They should be planted mid month to give a crop in early June/July.
Keep planting the salad stuff and don't forget the flowers. Pansy and Primula should be sown this month to give a winter show of colour - either at the plot or at home.
