baby chicks have green peee is this normal????
« on: February 09, 2011, 19:39 »
My one week old chicks have a lime green pee whenever they pooh. Nice topic I know but if humans have bright green pee they are usually dehydrated?

Should i be worried or no?

did you receive them in a shipment? if that is the case it could be hydration product that was given to the chicks during shipment.  The product "oasis"

or it could be the remnants of the digested yolk.

I got them as day old chicks. I thank you i think it was the remnants of the egg sack as they are no longer emitting lime green pooh.
