I am going to grow 100's and 1000's - very small but extremely tasty. You plant 3 plants per basket and no need to pinch out  :D

Definitely Gartenperle. They're fantastic tomatoes. Really nice and sweet, huge crop and very tough and easy to grow, perfect size and shape for baskets. I did 3 in baskets last year (1 per big basket) and got an enormous crop from them.

We did 100's and 1000's last year. Good crop....but........ although DD might like them cos they are pea sized    :D ,  they just didn't do it for us.

Tumbler has probably been our best.

Update, I am informed by she who must be believed that Tumbling Tom was better, it fruited well, tasted nice and looks nice in baskets cos it comes in both red and yellow varieties
(Silly me  :D)

I grew 100's and 1,000's - 6 of them in pots.

To be honest whilst there were literally 100's on the plant, they're a pain to pick and you need a lot for a small bowl full.
Did it really tell you to do THAT on the packet?

I am growing these in hanging baskets on my south facing house wall. They are lovely.

I vote for gartenperle too. Lots of tomatoes and tough enough to survive my daughters lack of love and attention

I grew Maskotka last year and they were the best hanging basket tomato I have ever tried.  Heavy crops of largish cherry toms with a lovely flavour.

Just a word of warning.  When you first start them off they don't look like they are going to trail and I was a bit off put at first, but they then lean over and tumble down from the basket.

we did the 100's and 1000's too in two hanging baskets, they just kept on going we still had a handfull in november. I used to throw a handfull (20 or 30) into my lunch box for work. very tasty, they were also good in pasta sauces, little bursts of flavour as they popped in your mouth.

Gartenperle everytime  :D :D
I love all mini tomatoes - except gartenperle!  I grew them last year, and they were a pinkish colour, with very watery tasteless fruit.  Would recommend Gardener's Delight, or one called Tom Thumb (I think).

I also vote for Tumbling Tom.  I grew one last year and the amount of fruit that came off the one plant was amazing.  It started producing fairly early and lasted right through summer.  The fruit were nice and firm (not too watery) with a good flavour.  I intend to grow a few again this year I was so impressed.
