I was given a few marrows back along from a neighbour a few plots up from me to try, as i have never grown them before.
I made some chutney from some & cooked the rest. Because i liked them I want to grow some next year.
The old boy on the plot next to me said they can be grown on the same patch all the time & have had a few others tell me the same, but i have read that they go in with the root veg & have to be rotated?
I have dug over a piece of the plot that hasn't been used, right at the front, planning to put them there, but as this is my 2nd season with the plot I would like to get them in with the rotation if that is what i should do.

Any advise please!

Marrows are one of those crops that you can fit in any where there is room, and it's not important for them to be rotated. They do appreciate a good dollop of compost/manure though

I don't want to grow that many & this piece i have dug over will take about 15 plants, so it's good to know i can keep them on the same bit of dirt.
