two problems, chickens at about 14 weeks go off their legs like drunk, fall over. do the splits. eat ok if taken to them as they cant walk then die. All have been copper black marrans.  lost about 10 now about 1 a month.  liquid poo no colour.  vet no idea tried baycox, antibiotics. other problem chicks under heat 3 week to 8 week chicks fluffed up wings droop look fed up wont eat or drink die 1 to 3 days later. yet again vet no idea tried baycox and antibiotic but still die. blood in poo, runny yellow. hope some one has a clue. must of lost around 50 chicks this year.  they have clean grass runs, free range, clean coops weekly no mites. feed pellets, garlic, chopped maze as treat.

Have you raised these or bought them in? Have they been vaccinated? Has the vet carried out any blood tests? What are their like?

How awful for you to be losing that many this year. I think you definately need post mortem testing to pinpoint the problem.
Just one thought as they're free ranging... are you sure there's no poisonous plants they have access to?
