My Light sussex went broody and now has 3 chicks ( ) well she pulled out her chest/breast feathers and is now bald there.  Is this bad as it is coming to winter or will she be fine with her babies?

I had a semi broody speckledy who was naked from crop to vent all her life with no problems. Apart from the occasional glimpse of a bare bum the remaining feathers seemed to cover her nakedness.

Do't worry about the baldness. She has pulled the feathers out so the chicks can get plenty of nice warm skin contact. She will be fine.
