Can any body help?
We brought our chickens early this year, we feed them on layered pellets and they have everything that they need. They are free to roam about. They are laying and all seemed happy yesteday.
Went to my chickens this morning, normally they all coming running up, but one never. I thought she was sitting down so I seperated the others and went to have a look at her and she was lying down with feet out.
She has no marks on her at all, not making any noises.
Please help if you can any advice would be welcome?

How old is she? Is it one or both legs? if one does her leg feel warm? if you hold her up do her wings hang down? What do her pupils look like?

She is less than 12 months old.
She is lying on her side with her feet out, it is both legs their is nothing unusual about her feet or legs, they are not hot or cold. When you pull her legs a bit she tugs away.
When you hold her up she tries to open her wings.
Eyes look normal and are open.
Hope this helps.
Do appreciate any advice has she is just lying in a box at the moment.

We don't really know has we have about 20 chickens in that coop house.
Supose we will see if she lays in the box today or next couple of days.

don't wait that long - get her to a vets today, she could be egg bound or it could be more serious. Until you get her to a vets I would suggest placing her in a box somewhere warm and dark away from the others.

She is in a box in a seperate place inside.

Took her to the vets they think she's had a stroke, but before we took her she seem to of perked up and was sitting upright and she has layed a egg which look normal.
Vet couldn't do anything but as she as perked up we are going to see how she is over the weekend.
