MUCH worse - dry April meant no germination on Parsnips, Carrots etc.

Warm winter has meant more bugs, weevils, aphids etc.

Terrible rain has meant no need to water but slugs have eaten everything, or it has gone wet and soggy. All my onions have bolted. Shallots have died without getting big. I can't dig because it's too wet. I can't get down the plot because it's always raining. Maincrops are sluggy or blighty or not developing. Chickens are miserable!

Bah. Humbug.
