Most of the garlic we planted at school this year ran to seed, and as this is the year that I am focussing on children knowing where seeds come from ( have carrot, parsnip ect from last year with huge seed heads on) I decided to keep a couple of heads for them

Wrong!!! They were not seed heads at all but tight little bunches of tiny little garlic cloes, beautiful deep purple in colour and ready to grow 

I am going to plant these tiny beauties in a tray and see how quickyl they grow

He'll grow back into it -- mine did (he is now 30,  mind  )
