Checking Breeder Out?
« on: July 28, 2010, 20:49 »
Hi,

I think I have finally found a breeder that has my Poland Chickens I want they are very young at the moment.  Way too young to even think of taking them home.  The breeder has agreed to let me come and see them though.  I was wondering what exactly I should look for or ask except about the worming issue.  Also how many weeks should a Poland be to be able to sex correctly?  Thank you all for your help!   ::)

I think they are rather difficult to sex along with silkies and araucanas, but I do know there are some people on here who breed them so hopefully somebody will be along soon.
Staffies are softer than you think.

Isn't the crest feathers different, curved in a hen + straight on a cock. Surely the breeder will be able to help.
