onions after spuds ?

hi all, can i plant onions in the space where the potatoes are, once they are all done, wont be for quite a while yet though, the spuds didnt go in till very end of may when i was given my plot.  thanks in advance x x lisa

were you thinking of planting Japanese/overwintering onions?

Yes, you can plant them after the potatoes, flatten the soil down level and rake in some Fish Blood and Bone or a general fertiliser.
Buy some sets and plant them in Sept/October time :)
