nowhere to put my leeks!

I was planning to plant my baby leeks (happliy growing in a bread tray but getting quite big) in the space left by my new potatoes crop. But they are still in the ground because of the late start to this year's spring.

Don't know what to do now
There's more comfrey here than you can shake a stick at!

carry on waiting until your potatoes come out..........can't be long now

Have you had a look at one to see how they are doing?

oh yes - they are great! Lovely tasty Charlottes. We have been eating them for a couple of weeks now, it's just that last year we were able to start digging them a whole month earlier and I was expecting to have a big gap in the spud patch by now  :)
