Hiya

I was just about to grate some ginger into my stir fry when I noticed it has a little shoot on. Had a little check and we've got 5 pieces of ginger that have chitted themselves   , lol.

So, is there anything we can do to try to grow it? Probably hard to do, but may be worth an experiment...

Would we have to keep it in the greenhouse or house?

How much watering?

Any advice would be brill...

Hi I started growing some ginger a few weeks ago it was growing really great till I put it outside and the leaves started to turn brown so I brought it in and put it on a window sill that just gets the morning sun and even more shoots have popped up so I think it is very happy there

I grew some last year on a sunny windowsill and it about doubled in size (it died in the winter and I dug it up).  I then read that they prefer (partial?) shade and not direct sun, I've not tried any again yet
