What can i plant now?

Hi again

My veggie patch should be ready to start planting next week.
I dont need salad veg as i already have them in pots.
I was given 12 seed potatoes yesterday already chitted, but not sure if its too late for them??
Any good ideas for planting?

I'm sure many more knowledgeable members will advise but peas, mange tout, runner and french beans would prob be ok, and courgettes too. John's crop calendar is the place to start...

Hi Dotty,
you can sow:spring cabbage,chicory,spring onion,more runner beans,french beans,carrots,beetroot.

If you like oriental vegetables, you can have a crop in as little as 4 weeks with something like kailaan, komatsuna or tsoi sim.

Wow. Seems to be quite a lot of things to get me going.
Never heard of the oriental ones. Might have to give them a go just for fun.

Kelvendon Wonder peas can be sown until the end of July.  How great is that  :D

I planted Kailaan for the first time this year and it's fast becoming a favorite.

Someone on the forum recommended Real Seeds and I'm so happy they did.

I'm harvesting mine now and have planted more. Would highly recommend.

I have just sown some fennel; I did some this time last year and had had a great crop through the autumn till the first very had frost in December.
