What type of drinker?
« on: June 07, 2010, 18:22 »
Is there any advantage to have one of the top-fill drinkers.  I can see many people have the type which need to be turned upside down?  Are the top fill ones more difficult to clean as they have an inner and outer cylinder?

I have 2 x 15 litre drinkers that you fill from the top but cleaning is a bit of a problem - when you remove the cap the hole is quite small and I can't get my hand in to clean it out properly. I have a bottle brush and that just about reaches the bottom but really I am not impressed with them so have now ordered 4 x 12 litre drinkers off grannie annie, these have good sturdy handles and yes you do have to tip them over when full but the bases do stay on well (cheaper ones can come off sending water everywhere ).
Staffies are softer than you think.
