Where to germinate biennials
« on: May 27, 2010, 14:30 »
Tripping over myself with efficiency and have just sown next years wallflowers and honesty (I usually miss sowing time by a mile!!) Where's the best place to put the trays to germinate - I thought about the cold frame, what d'you think? Thanks as always, Jude.

I don't think they to be particularly warm as they're hardy.  A frame would be ok as it keeps the worst of the weather and birds off. Don't let them get too warm and mind slugs and they should be ok

Wallflowers can get large so you will need to pot on or find a space to put a row of them in the garden.
