No disrespect Meterman, but I'm afraid you have failed to allow for the different concentrations, i.e. there is 2.5x more ingredient in a gram of 2.5% mix than a gram of 1% mix. Likewise, 5x more ingredient in  a gram of 5%. And that is what you are paying for, hence it is my set of calculations that are correct. As to cost per animal, I'm sorry to say that that is irrelevant. The raw cost of flubendazole for chickens in the 1% mix is 39x more expensive than that for pigs - and that is indefensible.
