The only thing I avoid putting in is potato peelings, as I've heard you can get them sprouting, or transfer viruses that way - not sure it that's correct or if it's just an old wives' tale.  Some coffee grounds are OK but I wouldn't put a lot in, though some people swear by using them as a mulch on camellias.

A friend of mine moved out of the area 18 months ago and he gave me his small compost heap, which I spread liberally over my strawberry beds. Last year, I had a great crop of free tomato plants which had germinated from his compost.
Not complaining, just an observation  :)
There's more comfrey here than you can shake a stick at!

All urine contains urea which is a good source of nitrogen and help the compost rot down quicker. The only problem with female urine would be if they are on the contraceptive pill when it would contain the hormone estrogen(sp?) which is linked with feminisation in fish populations downstream of sewer outlets.

........not to mention the risk of turning your tatties into t*tties!

Haha, I'm having a rubbish day and that really made me laugh. Childish sense of humour here!!  :nowink: :D :tongue2: :D :nowink:

Yes you can end up with potatoes from peelings my friends grandmother used to throw her peelings in the ground and get potatoes from them every year but I still put them in my compost lol will just have to pull anything out that grows where it shouldn't lol.
