I read somewhere on hereabut planting leeks in a cat litter tray but can't find it now, how deep does it need to be? :wacko:

They drill holes in the bottom to grow leeks.  You would not want a cat to use it!

I am trying a poundland one.  My husband picked up a Tesco value one, but it wasn’t deep enough.  You want one that is deeper than a normal seed tray I guess, which the Tesco one wasn’t.  Surprised if any cat litter would stay in that one.  I hope he will put my holes in, how did he do the holes, a hot skewer, I don’t have one, I was thinking a screwdriver might work, heated using a gas hob?
