I might have another bash at chilli's in those and pop them in the airing cupboard. Do you make any drainage holes in them or just compost in, seed on top and then vermiculite? How do you water them as well? Spray gun or fine rose?

Yeah just put a few drainige holes in the bottom.
I use a spray gun to water them :)

I'm with DD, trays for lots and pots for less.  I basically use trays for plants which will eventually end up outside on the plot, and for greenhouse (not tomatoes), I use pots, eg cukes, aubergines, peppers 8)

Oh you are all so very kind, dont know what I would do without this site, mumofstig I have loads of moduels which a neighbour gave me and boosh what a good idea with takeaway dishes will wash them up and sterilise them all for future use.  Thanks all once again.  Regards Mandy.
