  My nice purple ones arrived today.
The run I am building is from normal wildmesh and not an omlet one.
I know I have got to cut the mesh to make them fit, but has anyone else done this?
Any tips?

I think folks use those cheapo over-radiator towel airers from Wilko etc which hook through the mesh and then the hooks on the backs of the grubs and glugs fit over the rail bit (where you'd hang the teatowel  . There are some pics on Omlet of this, in the bit of the site where they show pics of run and coop set ups.  Go and have a look, I'm positive that's where I've seen them.  I need some for my set up as so far I just put them on the  ground but they get knocked over

So far I've only looked on the omlet forum for tips and have been told to cut the mesh. I didn't realise there were pics somewhere for making funky things out of wilko towel rails.

To be fair I bought them on a whim. They are just so pretty!

i still want to get those but i will have to wait for a few more weeks  the horses are costing a fortune at the mo until we can find big bales of hay again to i'm short of money but i will get nearly every colour in time i reckon

they're chunky and of good quality and easily washed and without the faff of those annoying screw tops that some drinkers have

 :lol:nigelb  big bales of hay are the massive ones that u really dont want to have land on you ,i normally fed them to the horses as its cheaper then small bales but we cant get big bales at the mo so its costing me double a week to feed the horses which is annoying me as everything else is being put on hold for now .

as for omletes i mite have one for dinner tonight
