improving drainage?
« on: February 14, 2010, 13:17 »
Hi

I've got some raspberry canes to plant.  They like well drained soil.  Ours is quite claggy clay.  I can improve it a bit with manure but I was wondering if I make a raised bed whether that would improve drainage because of the extra depth

anyone?

TIA

Yes it would, also gives you the option of making the bed soil how you want it.
