Sorry for boring you all with my 100-year-old Alain Titmarsh allotment guide but he says the flowering of potato plants is a sign of them being ready to eat. Some of my plants are flowering (planted them early March).
Are they ready to start eating do you think?

OK, thanks for the info Whisky-golf (are those your hobbies, besides gardening that is?). I only know AM from the allotment book, which was the only one I could find in Brussels on this this type of gardening when I was searching about 25 years ago. So I am quite oblivious to the man's status or otherwise. It is a handy size for taking to the garden for a quick referral. It's quite old and battered so I'm not worried about getting a bit of dirt on it.
