« on: February 01, 2010, 16:58 »
does anyone on here use a polytunnel on thier allotment plots , i am toying with the idea of getting one or another greenhouse or maybe build another chicken run . i have 2 plots one already has a chicken run but i dont know what to add on the first one , i've only got 10 ft width by 17 ft length worth of space .

Looby, I didn't have a proper poly tunnel but had one of those with the clear covers that you tie on to the metal framework types and as soon as we had really strong winds the cover broke its ties and the poles got bent  :( I think a greenhouse would be better - have you had a look on your local freecycle? I met Foxy yesterday and she told me your veg plots and your set up is brilliant - your veg looked superb  :D
Staffies are softer than you think.
