i am going to make a path straight up the middle of my allotment then would i be best to plant stuff lenght wise or withe wise if you know what i mean is the pictures on here of peoples plots to get some tips :-) laast year i just bunged every thng in and had to step over stuff lol as only got it in march ish so wanted to get stuff going but want to plan it this year so it looks nice and pretty he he and it is easier to look after and weed

We have a path up the middle we also have one going across that way you get four plots handy for rotation you move crops around each year Good Luck :)

Excuse me but what's this planning thing? I've got a plan drawn out but how often does growing fit into the plan? Does anyone really keep strictly to the plan?

I dont..........or didnt llast year - it was more kind of what should go in now..........theres a space there......... :lol:
will be a little more organised this year as will have to rotate......the plot that is, not me

Can't see the plot doing a turn either.......Think you'll just have to move the crops instead :lol:

Subject to the available space each way, I grow my rows north-south as it maximises more sun to both sides of each row.
I try to take one day at a time, but sometimes several days all attack me at once...
