Hi All,
   I have just recived my onion sets and shallots fro Kings, question is do I store them in the dark or light untill it is time to plant them?

Cool and dark I would say - cardboard box in the shed?

Give them a check for any that are going "soft" before you store them and then check again after a month or so. I did not check last year, and by the time I came to plant them half had gone rotten.

I would store them in the light so that they did not grow long pale shoots.

However I would not buy sets from a company that sent them out too soon.

I put mine in the fridge.

Store them in a frost free place,in daylight,out of direct sun light.
