has anyone any experience of Jersey giants ?

Im now gonna 'google' and see what I can find out,  but anyone kept them, for table or eggs ?

Hi. I had a black jersey giant (for eggs). Very big bird but didn't seem to eat much more than the others. Smallish eggs for her size (I would say a medium) and only 3 or 4 a week. Lovely temperament though and soooooooooooo pretty!

thanks for that, seems youre the only person to have had one.

im not fussed about eggs as I don't eat them  

I was thinking more along the line of rearing for the table.
