Hi all,
Can anyopne point me in the right direction of a beginners guide to red mite?

I don't have a problem yet but want to be prepared so I guess I want to know things like.

- How often should I disinfect the house and what with?
- How to treat the birds?
- What the heck is poultry shield? Diatom?  Are they always called this?

Or should I just worry about it when (if?) it happens?
