Well you could call her Eleanor, or Rita, Michelle, Penny Lane, Lucy etc (or even Yolko)  Sorry couldn't resisit the last on!!!

We had a litter of 11 Airedale pups that we named after Beatles songs.

Slight hijack here....Raeburg you've done it now!!!  Fancy mentioning Airedale pups with Roll Roll around :( ::)

Hijack over soryy TMG was rude of me.
Hope that Hope gets better!!!   Maybe she wants to be a house hen!!

That haunting melody, full of raw emotion and highlighting the true bittersweet tragedy of love...

"Octopus's Garden"

He does that!!!  When we decided to have another dog it was a toss up between a Airedale and a Red setter..........I won and we had the Setter, Maybe Roll Roll was right as they seem a bit less dippy!!

  I am an enigma, wrapped in a mystery, entangled in cheap garden netting.

I was traumatised when she did the Morecombe and Wise show. It destroyed my view of the world as a predictable and stable place to live.
And then Eddie Waring and Michael Aspel did the South Pacific thing and I just gave up. ::)

They are not dippy but they are very obstinate.  My parents used to show them and they were a lovely bunch of girls and just as awkward as hens for sorting out a pecking order (and bigger with pointy teeth).  i loved being around the pups, once having a litter share my bedroom for 6 weeks.

Hi I hope TMG doesn't mind me posting this for her but sadly Hope passed away in her arms early this morning. As I'm sure everybody will appreciate she is really cut up about it but she really did do everything possible to help save her little one and nobody could have done any more. Love and hugs from me xxx
