One of the few things which have flourished this year is the celery i bought as plug plants.  They are now a good 12in tall but still only about an inch wide.  They have had no special treatment.  I just planted them (not trying to blanch them), and ignored them!

Can celery be "over wintered" or will I need to start harvesting before the frosts (could be  as early as 3 week away here)
