My first attempt
« on: September 10, 2009, 22:27 »
Evening everyone!
I have made my first ever lot of jam tonight! I can't believe how much fun i had squishing warm stewed Damsons through a pair of tights :tongue2: only have a 3mm coating of sticky dark red stuff acorss the whole kitchen and myself but some of it made it into jars and i can't wait to try it!
I am so proud of myself, first Damsons next....
...THE WORLD  hahahahaha (manic Bond style supercriminal laughing)

Always thankful for advice!

and make sure you take all the stones out before wearing them again. It would probably be best if you rinsed them out first too  :tongue2:

I promise you that when you crack open one of those jars in the middle of winter, you will be blown away by the jam's intensity and deep flavour!  There's no going back now! ;)
When I die I will slide in sideways, a glass of wine in one hand and chocolate in the other, screaming, "Whooo hooo!  What a ride!" as life is to be enjoyed to the fullest!
