Very good job, Grannie. Also the casing looks natural, where did you get them from, please?

I got them from here Gobs, and yes they are natural hog skins.

http://www.sausagemaker-uk.com/

There's also a company called natural casings, but my internet won't give me the page at the moment!

And I'm afraid pork and apple are out shaun, as my Brian doesn't like cooked apple in ANY form, but pork and leek are one of my favourites, as well as a good Lincolnshire, a good Cumberland, and Boston sausages are good too!!!!  Also lamb and mint.

I used to work near a shop in London who made their own, in the basement of their shop.  I don't know if they are still going.  I'm pretty sure their beef and guiness sausages were real, as I found a ring pull in one once! lol I wrote and told them about it and they asked me to go visit their shop.  but my 2nd husband was an alcoholic and he wouldn't let me go anywhere apart from work, so I didn't get there,  bet I would have come away with a few freebies there!!!

And Munty, what do you want for lunch when you and aggy come to see me.  Bangers and Mash??????lol

Well, we had our sausages, and our eggs and our tomatoes for our Sunday brekky.  shame the bacon wasn't ours too eh, and I've got no homemade bread at the moment either!!!

But this is what they looked like cooking, and they tasted good, bit weird as they tasted like meat, and we are not used to sausages that tate like meat!!!         Could have done with a bit more seasoning, but not bad for first go.  Hopefully I'll get better with practice!
