Hello everyone, Just discovered this site by accident whilst looking for some hints on identifying the various fruits I have noticed growing wild in the area.  Think I have worked out the elderberries, but need to be sure of the fruits that look like bluberries, but have a stone in the centre. Purple skin and green flesh. Are these damsons or bilberries and are they safe to eat ? Also found some similar fruits, slightly bigger and yellow/green in colour. I'm quite ashamed to be so ignorant of what is growing on my own doorstep and plan to do something about that. I'm sure that this site will be just what I need and can't wait to start making all sorts of delicious things.
