moving chicks in

I have hatched 2 lavender splash orpingtons and they  are now 13 weeks old. When can I introduce them to the older girls?

You will need to keep them in a run alongside the other chickens for a while so they get used to them, then it's best to put them into the coop at night when the older ones are too tired to pick on them. When you do put them together you'll need to watch them, if they are attacked go back to stage 1. There will be squabbles while they settle in but if one of them draws blood all hell will let loose.
