[Chickway]

I am in the process of hatching 9 chicks.  3 buff orpingtons and 6 lavendar araucanas.  

5 have already hatched.  2 hatched in the night and 2 more before 1pm this afternoon.  1 has pipped quite alot and the other two only slightly.

What im asking is should I leave them all in the incubator until the others have hatched or remove the ones that have hatched first.  I should think they will all be hatched by tomorrow morning.

Any advice please. Many thanks. x

if they are dry and fluffed up I would move them to the brooder

Would it be ok to move them in the morning although it will be just over 24 hours for the first 2 hatched.  Thanks.  My last lot hatched within a couple of hours of each other so was easy to manage.

I get lazy and mine often stay in for nearly 2 days!!!  Its strange but I find these chicks are the strongest ones....

Dont rush to get them out in my opinion

I assume so but have never used an incubator only broodies so never have this problem
