What to compost and what to burn

Help
I never know what to burn and what to compost on my one and a half allotment plots.

I have manage to plant on a third of it this year and am trying to clear the rest for next year. I take my kitchen waste down to the compost bin , but not sure when to compost and when to burn from the allotment waste , especially the weeds and brambles I am still clearing . Also veg that has gone to seed.
I have 2 plastic compost bins and have put up some wooden pallets to make another area and am getting a drum incinerator.

At the moment it is like painting the forth bridge , as I am clearing one area ,I look around and it is growing back.

you can compost any small surface weeds. But you can't compost anything that 'goes to seed' or has a tap root such as dandelions, marestail, couch grass  and docks

Any perrenial roots such as dandelion and couch can be placed in a black bin bag and forgotten about until the following year when they should have decomposed enough to put into compost.

Alternatively, place them all in water butt where they will rot down and release their goodies into thewater as a liquid feed, especially nettles.
