Moles AHHHHHH!!!!!!
« on: April 24, 2007, 10:43 »
My plot has a resident mole who is hell bent on digging up all my seedlings. As much as I am an animal lover I would prefer it if he/she went and dug elsewhere.
Does anyone have any ideas on what to do. I have just shelled out £18 for a ultrasonic spike to put them off, does anyone have any idea if they work?

Any help to solve this problem would be welcome.

the noise basically just annoys them and thus stops them going near the plot. we tried traps but these didnt work last year

I have posted this before and it definitely works. Pop a couple of those really annoying musical greetings cards, left open. down his run. The sound will drive him away very quickly,Replace them after a few days to keep him away.

I use a spike, move it around me garden every couple of weeks or so - works perfect as long as you remember to replace the batteries!
