expanding the flock

hi, i am really new to chicken keeping, i have just reared my first chicks and think it is amazing, i have possibly got some land that i can use and trying to find the best use for it, my first thoughts were having a larger egg laying stock or maybe rearing birds for meat or turkeys. my husband said it would be ok if i could make it into a profit venture. i cant seem to find anywhere on the net about where i could buy day old hybrids or turkeys in somerset anyideas, and help or advice would be good.
