Lucky you I've only seen 4 in total this year  and only  2 of those were in my garden :(

I have a lot, but not enough to keep up with the blackfly. Last year I only saw the invasive harlequin ladybird, this year they are still common but the native 2 and 7 spot are back in reasonable numbers too.

The blackfly and dry weather did for my boad beans so pulled them up last weekend, they were alive with ladybirds, they then proceded to bite any exposed skin. ouch!!!

Well you learn something new every day.  I never knew ladybirds bite!  I have a ladybird house on my allotment so every now and then I move a ladybird to the house in the hope that they will want to overwinter there!

We have hundreds, more snails, but still, every day I have to look where I step cause the ladybirds are everywhere.

Abundant with butterflies and bumble bees too.  Definitely going to have to make a little bug house.

I have loads of ladybirds on the plot this year - can't remember the last time I saw so many but that seems to go for the butterflies, bees etc too.

I have the most ladybirds I've seen both on my allotment & garden, but although there are lots of bumble bees, honey bees are almost absent - bit worrying really.

I have seen more ladybirds than I've seen for years, and I've checked; they are all our own 7-spot english variety, yippee!!! I've also got the larvae everywhere  :)
