Our French Climing beans seem to be dying, the leaves are going Brown/light Orange colour.

They get plenty of water and plant food, but are being kept in a large pot!

We have some other French Climbing Beans in the gound that are doing really well.

Could they be pot bound at all? Or is there something we are not doing?

If you can, try tilting the pot to see underneath in case the roots are growing out the bottom. I don't know about vine weevil or other insect attack but someone on here will advise, I'm sure.

That would be a bit awkward to do as it's really heavy and it would all topple over.

ours did this too but came back after a decent spell of us watering and some rain, only problem now is there producing beans at 2 ft tall!!! and still not climbing ha ha
