anyone know whether hemerocalis (?)(day lily) flowers are edible? Seem to remember reading  somewhere they are.....  and if so, would it be all varieties?They look as if they'd make a lovely addition to a summer salad.

Many thanks for the link - I was getting quite enthusiastic until I got to the sweaty armpits, but I guess I've just got to try now! Doesn't look like I'm going to poison myself and I'll keep a check on the hallucinogens! THen I'll make some sandals.........
