Having prob with technology... Tut... Keep getting error messages, and then it says I've already posted it ......

Anyway, back to the calming topic of chickens.

Worked like demons last week in all that heat.  And here are the results so far.

What do you think about height of perch.  It's been determined by heigh of next box opening.  Is there enough head room?  Could do it differently if it's too high.

That is one des res!  It must have taken u ages.  When can I move in??

I guess head height will depend on size of chook... you could try the hens and see what they think - they'll tell u by roosting on the floor or knocking themselves out

That is a spectacular hen residence! I am sure your girls will be delighted.

My 4 always roost as high as they can so yours will probably love your perch. If you find them out cold in the morning maybe lower it an inch or two

Oh I see what you mean. Ha! It does look like a lollo rosso lettuce!
Picture is too small to see everything in detail, and the plants have merged into one.  I've since had some hints and tips on how better to upload pics, so when the girls arrive, I'll have another go.

Believe me, it's not miniature, it took us all week to build!
