Hi.
A friend of my just got a couple of chickens given her, and they are covered in lice, where is the cheapest place to buy Ivermectin from?

Just a thought, i use a product called Ivomec which i think is the same thing as Ivermectin, if it is i get mine from Petmeds.    I use the ivomec on my guineas every 3mths, keeps the dreaded mange mite away.    I use ivomec orally as thats the best way to deal with it.     Ivomec will only work on blood sucking mites only as giving it orally it gets into the blood stream and then kills the mites that suck the blood, and a brillant job it does to.    If ivermectin is the same product as ivomec it will not work just on running lice or other lice mites  that just feed on skin debri etc etc.     The ivomec i use is for the sheep and cattle.    I would be hesitant to use it on poultry, there are certainly other products out there that will do just a good job as in powders and sprays.    nickyx

I have been lucky so far and have never had lice on any of my chickens, she asked me where to get this from, I did a quick search, but too many results, so I thought I would ask one of you kind peeps
