Yes I have actually done it am having all home produce from the garden on Sunday including a cockerell home reared, home grown New Pots, Cauli, Cabbage and Carrots all from the garden.

I never thought I could do it but I have and so pleased and looking forward to it.

Just got to catch the cockerell now LOL

Well done Briony - it feels so good doesn't it.
Try using a fishing net to catch the cockerel.  :D

Its the best isnt it! Well done you

My ambition is to get every single veg at Christmas dinner grown by my own fair hands.. My very own sprouts! Yum!

Congratulations to you  :) :) :)- I'll just sit here and seethe with jealousy, done the chicken and bits of veg but not enough for a whole meal.  Its my first year gardening and although I'm proud of what I have achieved its nothing like you've managed.

Hey - did my first almost full meal last night too:

Potatoes (with mint), carrots, broad beans, courgettes, and fenneled salmon - only the fish was bought...wish I had a stream/lake!!

Afters was a choice of strawberries, rhubarb and gooseberries..

It does feel (and taste!) good!!

I'm lovin it!!

I like to call this a "100%er"

My favourite hundred percenter at the moment is Spanish Tortilla and salad lunch.

New potatoes, onion and eggs in the Tortilla and Little Gem, Salad Bowl, rocket and spring onion on the side.

Love it.
Liv.
