I'm wondering if my spuds are ok as I see some folk have theirs sprouting already...

I have Pentland Javelins which were planted on the 10th march. I have just returned from 10 days away and it hasn't rained here (as far as I know) since I've been away, though I did water them today.

What d'you reckon - are they still ok?

I'd be totally amazed if they were not okay.  Maybe you planted them a little deeper than other folks?  I wouldn't worry

Planted mine about the same time and mine haven't shown either, had a look today and their fine just not moving, it's just to dry for the time of year, water well and they'll soon start moving.

They will show eventually,if you put them in a dark room instead of planting they would stick up long shoots soon so don`t worry.I find i gaze long and hard each day just incase and I still find it exciting when the first shoots show through,I`m still waiting too!

I just a had a wee paranoid moment when after nearly two weeks away I was greeted by the same patch of ground, only much drier. Then seeing others had some earlies up I thought there was something wrong.

I shall be patient!

interesting that, my arran pilots have all comr through but only one or two of my pentland javelins have shown, and none at all in my top bes! I think where you are has quite a big bearing on things!!
